Many people ask this question, “which tool I use to built my website Photoshop Or Fireworks”, I answer BOTH, why?, let me clear myself.

 

While making website this is always good idea to make prototype of main layout first, because start making website on html is painful,   because if you like to see what your website looks like if the right navigation comes on left or footer links comes to top, this is very hard to do in html, but its really easy in image.

 

While making prototype for website use Fireworks and for making images for website use Photoshop, yes that’s the best strategy, because I know many designer who use photoshop entirely and they take a lots and lots of time to built a design which I can make in an hour on Fireworks, that’s the difference, Fireworks quality is not very good, but Fireworks is really easy to use, its easy to take your link from left to right.

 

Photoshop is extreme quality and one of its kind in the whole industry, but its hard to use, and when you just have to make bars of links which are going to be plain html color bar, you don’t need good quality, you just need to see what my links bar looks on page you can make it on fireworks and for header graphics and other graphics which needs quality you can use Photoshop.

 

One more thing, if you are a good designer, you can make a Quality header in fireworks or any other designing tool available, because you know how to design, but if you are bad designer, Photoshop’s quality cant do much for you, because you don’t know how to design.
